What are the sleeping arrangements like?
At the Green Mountain Retreat, we are able to offer campers comfortable accommodations because we know the importance of a good night’s sleep! For camps with over 35 people enrolled, we will be housing campers in the Pueblo Dormitory, which has 35 bedrooms each with 2 or 3 beds. Campers can choose to share a room or have their own single room. For camps with under 35 people enrolled, we will be housing the campers in individual cottages. Our cottages range from 2 to 6 bedrooms and campers can choose to share a room or have their own room. Each cottage will have an adult female chaperon who will stay overnight in the cottage with the campers.
Does my child need to bring his/her own sleeping bag or bedding?
No, our rooms are outfitted with comfortable beds, pillows, and blankets. We do ask that you bring your own towel(s) so that there is no mix-up.
Will my child be able to take a hot shower every day?
Yes! Personal hygiene is very important! Our dormitory and cottages are all equipped with multiple bathrooms with hot showers and campers will be asked to shower daily. We will provide soap and shampoo but campers can bring their own as well.
What food will be served? Will you be able to accommodate my child's food allergies?

We serve three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Click here to check out our menu. Please let us know if your child has any special dietary restrictions when signing up so that we can prepare accordingly. We will also provide snacks in the morning and in the afternoon.

What should I pack for my child?

We have prepared a packing list for your convenience. Please click here to download.

Can my child bring their electronics to the camp?
No, we ask campers to not bring electronics including cell phones, video games, laptops, or tablets. We believe that our campers can better enjoy the beautiful surroundings, make social interactions, and have an awesome camp experience without electronic devices.
Will I be able to reach my child during the camp?
Should there be a need for you to reach your child or vice versa, we will provide you at check-in with a phone number to reach our camp staff.
